David Altmeyer

David is an experienced insurance professional and helps clients work toward their retirement dreams through a well-thought-out strategy for generating retirement income.

At age 21, David got his start in financial services as the youngest employee at a large local firm. He had been introduced to the industry by an advisor his father worked with at the Union Gospel Mission, and it was this advisor’s firm he joined. Eventually, David started Altmeyer Financial Group, where he focuses on building custom income strategies, helping clients feel confident they won’t outlive their money. Carrying on his family’s belief that serving and helping people are more important than making money, David genuinely cares about his clients and the services he provides them, treating them as members of the Altmeyer family.

Away from the office, David enjoys cheering for Gonzaga basketball and Washington State University football, as well as snowmobiling and cars. He and his wife, Jody, have three daughters, Lauryn, Ally and Meghan.
